In this video I am going to show you two OS that are based on Ubuntu. They both have a modern look and most of all require half of the resources required by other OS.

Linux Mint 17.3 “Rosa” Cinnamon Edition requirements:

512MB RAM (1GB recommended for a comfortable usage).
9GB of disk space (20GB recommended).
Graphics card capable of 800×600 resolution (1024×768 recommended).
DVD drive or USB port.

Lubuntu requirements

512MB RAM (1GB recommended for a comfortable usage)
6 GB hard drive (20GB recommended)
Pentium 4 or Pentium M or AMD K8
Nvidia, AMD/ATI/Radeon and Intel work out of the box
