Understanding The Different Grades Of Concrete And Their Mix ratio In Engineering.

Описание к видео Understanding The Different Grades Of Concrete And Their Mix ratio In Engineering.

Grade of concrete is defined as the concrete mix proportion, and the minimum compressive strength of concrete, at the end of the 28-day curing period.

The compressive strength of the concrete is the maximum amount of strength, a concrete develops after 28 days to resist the crushing force or axial force on it before reaching its failure point.

Test for compressive strength is carried out either on a cube or cylinder. Various standard coderecommendsenda concrete cylinder or concrete cube, as the standard specimen for the test.

The M standard signifies the cube sample size of concrete, while the C standard signifies the cylindrical sample size of concrete. The C standard can also be used as a cube and cylindrical sample size.

The mix ratio of concrete is the proportion by volume of cement, sand, and coarse aggregate, that is needed to produce a concrete grade in the presence of adequate water.

All these are explained in the video. If you find the video useful, Like and share the video.
