In this quick video Dan Debone, former service manager at Palmer's Pursuit Shop (1990-1997), explains an early prototype Elite Weapon's pump handle that was made for the Dogs of War team member, Tony.
This battle pump handle is left handed.
The Palmer's, Elite Weapon's, and Dogs of War patch as well as the Gordo embroidery are shots of Dan's jacket.

DeBone - This is one of the early Elite Manufacturing (battle pump handles).
This was when they were prototyping (the battle pumps)... (and) the Dogs of War players (were) doing customs pumps.
They would take a Sheridan pump handle and build it up with Bondo on the outside and using a Glove or some would talk about using a plastic bag on their hand.
Then they would wrap their hand around it and hold it while it set so it would be custom formed to that particular player, how they held their pump.
This one here, I believbe it was done for Tony originally. I wound up with it because it was on a gun of his that i wound up with.
Bacci - Do you remember his last name?
DeBone - No I don't...
Bacci - And you can see that it's a two piece Sheridan pump. Looks like one side might be cut down a little, probably because one side's shorter a little bit.
It's cracked in the center, probably just from flexing.
DeBone - It wasn't cracked when I originally got it but it's been sitting around and expanding and contracing in the heat.
Bacci - Very cool, thanks, do you remember anything aobut the production ones?
DeBone - The prodution ones were done in cast nylon with an aluminum shell underneath. So they were cast that way.
Bacci - Do you remember who molded? Was it Glenn's hand that they molded or was it Forests Cox's?
DeBone - I don't remember who they did that for originally. I don't remember who Forest (Cox) chose for the original constuction of that.
Bacci - Cool, cool, so is the Bondo brown and it's painted black?
DeBone - Yeah, it's actually a Brown Bondo, that was just sprayed black.
Bacci - Huh, cool awesome, thanks!
