ABOUT THE STATION:
Rayleigh Bay is the newest terminus on the SCR network, having been added to the game in update v2.0.0, which released on Monday 12th August 2024. It is one of 3 stations which were added, the others being Carnalea Bridge and Aslockby. Rayleigh Bay is served by both Express and Connect services and is the first ever diesel-only line on the Stepford County Railway map. It sees frequent services to and from Llyn-by-the-Sea, Westwyvern, Edgemead, Leighton West and Leighton City. The station boasts 3 platforms, a waiting room and ticket office, and is located in the town of Rayleigh, adjacent to the harbour. Rayleigh Bay station is located in the south-east of the SCR map, with trains leaving the mainline at Edgemead and following the new branch line. The inspiration for this station was taken from Bradford Forster Square, in West Yorkshire.
