I think this is the hardest fight in the game. Both characters are very mobile and the explosive in the center of the room can be a problem, but you can also use it to damage the boss. The main problem is the big laser attack, as it is very hard to avoid if you are far away. I got lucku in my fight with Eggman as he decided that he hates that wall for some reason.
