Star Citizen is an Open Development Alpha Project by Cloud Imperium. Stare Citizen & Squadron 42 are their games though, the Persistent Universe that aims to build a First Person MMO Space Life simulator. It's built in the StarEngine (a modified Lumberyard Engine)

Fly spaceships and explore the verse with friends. Land on moons and planets engage in both ship combat and FPS combat. Pilot ships of various sizes, from a single seater up to a capital ship that takes several players to operate.

Squadron 42 is the Single Player Campaign of Star Citizen and is also in alpha testing. From my best knowledge it is life as a naval space recruit, with stunning cinematic and a seamless gameplay experience.
