Vauxhall Nova Wide Arch Show Car build Slideshow

The year was 2003, I'd spent many years reading MaxPower and FastCar magazines at school. I'd just started my panel beater aprentership so i bught a 1991 Vauxhall Nova Flair and thought id see what i could create.

I did all the work myself from the body work to the engine conversion, the prep work to the brakes. i did all the priming and electronics, spec'ing up the basic Flair with GTE electric windows and central locking, SR clocks with oil pressure gauges, TVR style door pop buttons under the mirrors, which had indicators in themselves, a full stereo system, you could open the doors and boot by remote, the list goes on.

The only bit i left to my good mate Steve was to do the final painwork and it turned out stunning!

i have many great memories in my late teens early 20s in this car and it was sad to see it go how it did, but it was fully insured so everything was paid out for so it wasn't so bad. (Lesson there kids, declaire your mods!)

Now 15 years later i do still do love to look at this car! There are loads of things i wouldn't do again, some almost cringeworthy these days, but i still love it :)
