Riding a ferry bus on Thames River, from Westminster Pier, all the way to Canary Wharf. The trip is approx 25 minutes in duration.

The ferry bus is an amazing way to do sight-seeing as tourist. It only costs a few pounds. I was personally worried about getting motion sickness but it was surprisingly stable.
The ferry makes stops every few hundred meters until London Tower Bridge, thereafter it goes onto a speed mode, and boom, you are at Canary Wharf.
