RC-One : Finishing Touches, Engine Install & First Rides! : RC1 : Part 08

Finally, the RC-One is gonna run! This mega-episode includes all sorts of tasks to finish the installation of the Malossi engine into my Chinese scooter. We'll start off with a complete disassembly and cleaning of the DellOrto VHST 28mm carburetor before it's installed on the motor. Then the wheel hub, rear disc brake and Yamaha Aerox wheel can go on. The old TPR 86cc comes out and the RC1 goes in! Then the hydraulic rear brake gets plumbed before setting up the throttle cable. Next, an EGT bung is made and welded into the exhaust before the pipe installation. The cooling system is plumbed and filled just before the scoot is ready to run and goes on a few shakedown rides.
