HOLMATRO RESCUE CHALLENGE 2022 RUN-OFF WINNERS: Consorcio Bomberos Valencia

The full run-of from the winners of the Holmatro Rescue Challenge 2022: Consorcio Bomberos Valencia from Spain! This team was awarded "Best Overall Team" by the UKRO assessors. In this scenario, we saw one car on its side, blocking the entrance to a car upside down, with one casualty inside. The team used the spreader to relocate the vehicle on its side, which got them a lot of recognition from the assessors and from our scenario builders, as this was performed very well. This allowed them more space to work on this side of the vehicle, removing the doors and then the B-pillar. Afterwards, the team got the victim out horizontally.

The assessors complimented the team for being very casualty centered, with an incident commander communicating very clearly, and a lot of simultaneous action from all team members.
