Unilateral, progressive, and suspension calisthenics exercises are stable for any serious muscle building routine. Classic push-ups and pull-ups are great, but eventually you will need to employ the higher levels of resistance that are available with archer push-ups and progressive bodyweight squats.

But the question is, is it better to do all of your repetitions on one side at a time or should you alternate back-and-forth to even know the workload?

Both approaches have their pros and cons, but I believe there’s one approach that is superior in most cases.
