Cab Ride - Annetta Valley & Western Freedom Run - July 6 2024

Come along on a cab ride along the Annetta Valley and Western 7.5" gauge railroad in Annetta, Texas. The cab ride was filmed during the AV&W Freedom Run on July 6, 2024. The railroad operates both Live Steam and diesel (gas/electric) locomotives and a variety of rolling stock. During meets, visitors from across the United States bring a wide variety of trains to run on the railroad. The AV&W features several sidings with passenger stations, switching spurs, and several bridges. With 3 reversing loops, the railroad offers a variety of operational opportunities for meets, passenger operations, and freight operations. Terrytown is the home of the main passenger station, the main shops, turntable, service tracks, transfer table, unloading tracks, and storage. Just West of Terrytown is the main John Gray yard featuring a substantial diesel facility. Ride along as our train pulled by #54 leaves Terrytown, traverses the railroad, and returns to the Terrytown depot.
