Plastic scale modelling is a hobby with varied subjects, tastes and skill levels. Sometimes do we forget that it is ok to not be perfect in everything we do though?

Join me on the workbench in this plastic scale modelling discussion video where I share my thoughts on how it can be so hard to strive for a perfect build every time, and sometimes it is ok to just do what we enjoy.

After all, should we encourage modellers to pick up the hobby through only our successes, or is it important to be relatable and realistic too? Perhaps we can promote the hobby through passion and enthusiasm, without having to strive for perfection each time?

Sometimes when I am building my scale model kits of tanks, planes and other things like dioramas, I find myself meeting comments from other hobbyists questioning why I would consider my project "worthy" of sharing with others. Is there an expectation that we should only strive to post our successes and "perfect" builds online?

Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Do we, as modellers, have a responsibility to share both the bad & the good in our builds so that we can grow as a community together?
