Step two grab your handheld snaking device and make a small kink on the cable approximately 3 inches from the end.
Step three stick the cable into the overflow of the bathtub and push it until it hits the bottom of the trap depending on the type of drain you have you might spin the cable.
Step four apply constant pressure to the cable while it’s spinning in order to push the cable through the trap which is called jumping the trap.
Step five after you jump the trap meaning the cable goes through the trap you continually apply pressure while the cable is spinning and pushing the cable into the pipes from the overflow of the bathtub. ( You might have to put the cable in reverse or add a kink on the cable Approximately 6 inches or 8 to 9 inches from the end of the cable ).
