Talk Title: Overview of ETSI ISAC ISG

Abstract: The European Telecommunications Standardization Institute (ETSI) launched in November 2023 an Industry Specification Group (ISG) on Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC). The aim of the ISG is to establish the technical foundation for the development of ISAC technology and its standardization in 6G. For its first 2 years period, the ISG has launched four work items covering advanced 6G ISAC use cases, channel models and evaluation framework, system and RAN architectures, and the impact of ISAC on security, privacy, trustworthiness, and sustainability. This talk will give an overview of the ETSI ISAC ISG and share its latest progress and outlook for the next steps.
