What do you do if you spot a cockroach in your kitchen? Stamp on it? Reach for insecticide? If you are Tumi Molekane, one of South Africa's most lyrically gifted rappers, you take a different approach. You observe it and use it to trigger a thought process about random events, and how we explain them away. The outcome leads to collaborating with guitarist Tiago Correia Paulo from Mozambique and you end up with a beautiful song called Signs.
