The Cosmos Festival is being held at Changneungcheon Waterfront Park, which flows in Deokyang-gu, Goyang-si.

Cosmos are in full bloom now on the wide riverside of Gangmaeseokgyo Park in Changneungcheon Stream, which meets the Han River.

Even if it is not an official festival event held for two days from the 12th to the 13th, visitors can easily access the freeway and enjoy the cosmos flower-flowing spectacular view.

Cosmos are common flowers in autumn, but places that bloom on such a large scale are not common.

It is a great place for citizens to come and enjoy the autumn atmosphere for the holidays.

There is also a parking lot and you can enter the area near Haengju Fortress on your own. If you type "Changneungcheon Cosmos Festival" on the navigation, you will be able to find a parking lot information. Parking and admission are all free of charge.

Changneungcheon Stream, where canola flowers in spring and cosmos in autumn are spectacular, has established itself as an autumn flower attraction that connects the reputation of Goyang City, the city of flowers. The place where the Cosmos Festival will be held is Changneungcheon Gangmaeseokgyo Park, located on Gangmaeseokgyo Bridge, the oldest stone bridge in Goyang City, which was established in 1920.

At the opening ceremony held at the central square at 3 p.m. on the 12th, a performance will be held with a primary color handkerchief containing a congratulatory message for the Cosmos festival commemorating the space of memories and romance. Prior to the opening ceremony, the Taekwondo Demonstration Team of Goyang Special City announces the start of the festival with a powerful kick.

This year's Cosmos Festival is set in a cosmos flower field, where families, mothers, fathers and children can feel the memories of the 70s and 80s together. There are corners where you can experience the costumes of the 70s and 80s, and you can leave black and white photos of memories taken by professional photographers throughout the festival.

As a festival held in Changneungcheon, a representative river in Goyang City, the operating booth will present plogging kits to 20 people a day to participate in environmental purification along the cosmos flower field on a first-come, first-served basis.

On both sides of the central square, there is a wide field of cosmos flowers, which are orange and pink. The trail will be maintained flat, so that strollers and the elderly can enjoy it safely, and about 600 solar night lights and grass lights will be installed in each section so that they can feel a different look at night. Gangmaeseokgyo Park, where the festival will be held, is expected to continue until early November, allowing people to freely visit cosmos even on weekdays.

Experience programs and traditional games will be held at the central square from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. On the stage surrounded by cosmos, a DJ talk show will be held to tell stories received by DJs on the spot along with music that gives you a feeling of retro mood of 70s and 80s. People can also enjoy folk songs and music played by acoustic bands with autumn breezes while sitting in the grandstand of the stage set up in the shade.

In particular, there is a traditional game section in the middle of the venue where you can enjoy traditional games of memories. On-site staff, who are masters of traditional games, will compete together with each other such as eraser fighting, land-playing, marbles, air play, Alkkagi, and slapstick game. There are also experience programs such as painting balsam, face painting, caricature, tarot card, and drone experience.

In addition, at the Gangmae Market run by local residents, you can see food prepared by residents of Gangmae Village, such as noodles, jeon, acorn muk, and Maehwa Village, and local food produced by local residents.

Visitors who use cars during the festival can park at the free parking lot (Gangmae-dong 652-2) next to Gangmae Seokgyo Park. For public transportation, take the 030 bus from Hwajeong Station or Haengshin Station and get off at Gangosan Station, and walk along Haengju Nuri-gil from Gangmae Station, which takes about 30 minutes.
