Grandmaster was the Collector's brother and part of the Elders of the Universe, god-like beings representing the oldest species in the universe, and is an extremely sadistic and manipulative individual. He is most known for his obsession with manipulating life forms into playing his life-or-death games. Grandmaster is rarely a pure sadistic genius, as he enjoys creating games and watching the "players" die or fight to the death.
