These skins are based on the appearance of the 212th Recon Division. A branch of the larger 212th Attack Battalion, the 212th Recon Division specialized in covert operations behind enemy lines. The clone troopers of the 212th Recon Division used Phase I ARF trooper armor and commonly utilized the AT-RT. They appear in the fifth and sixth episodes of tthe second season of The Clone Wars TV series, fighting in the Second Battle of Geonosis.
