Kiteboarding Tricks | Adding Style to your One-Footers

Описание к видео Kiteboarding Tricks | Adding Style to your One-Footers

In this video, David from MACkiteboarding discusses various one-footed kiteboarding tricks and their variations, building on a previous introductory video. He starts by explaining the standard one-footer, where the key is to keep the leg straight down without extending too wide, achieving a controlled look by extending both legs and positioning the board diagonally.

Next, David introduces the extended one-footer, emphasizing personal style by pointing the back leg far behind and extending the arm forward to create a V-shape. This trick allows for slight rotations to look under the board, adding a fun and stylish element.

David then moves on to the one-footer in front, which involves pulling the foot out and moving it in front of the board. Though initially feeling odd, this variation adds style and enables body twists in the opposite direction compared to the extended one-footer. Combining this with other variations can further enhance the visual appeal.

Finally, David describes the no-handed one-footer, advising to slide the back foot slightly out of the strap before jumping. To prevent the board from swinging away, he suggests engaging hip flexors and keeping an eye on the foot strap, flexing the toes into the foot pad. Flexing the front leg to swing the board up and catch it ensures the foot goes back in quickly.
