Every person with the INFJ personality type (MBTI) knows that they often don’t “fit in” with the rest of society. Often, the solution seems to be to try and mold ourselves to what those around us seem to want.

However, this molding and trying to “fit in” with others in social situations is a disaster for us INFJs. This is because we end up losing our unique perspectives and abilities by trying to fit in.

In reality, it’s much better to be our authentic selves and let those who enjoy our personality stick around, and those who don’t - well, they can find someone else.

The main thing to remember is that you are enough. Your personality is enough, and it isn’t your responsibility to dull your shine to allow others around you to always feel comfortable. Always be your (awesome) self.
