Walkthrough of of a hack of Sonic the Hedgehog for SEGA Genesis / MegaDrive, called Sonic 1 Westside Island.
This hack heavily modifies Zone layouts, such that every single Act becomes much harder as a result, including Boss Battles. Also, Special Stages are disabled, so there is no way to get the any Emeralds or the True Ending.
