The AMPSTER is the best TUBE-driven pedal board solution!

In this video, we are having a look at the Carl Martin Ampster, a tube driven pedal board amplifier.
I reached out to Carl Martin, as I wanted to try a pedal board amp for the first time. These types of devices have been around for some time, in one form or another, but while many go the digital route, the folks at Carl Martin wanted to stay all analog. Not only that, but they also added a preamp tube to the equation.

One the front of the amp, you get your Master, Presence, Bass, Mids, Treble and Gain knobs. The footswitch to the left toggles between the 2x12 and 4x12 speaker emulations. To the right, you have the Mute, which comes in handy more than you might think.

At the back, you will find your input, a Link that goes straight to another amplifier (if you wish to use one as a monitor, a series FX Loop, an XLR out (which is hard-wired to the speaker emulation)
and a remote, so you can control the Ampster via another footswitch.
