This video is a theory video. I talk about sample rate (frequency), sample size (bit depth), and go into an explanation of how binary works. This video won't be as fun as some of the hands-on stuff that I teach in other videos in this series, but it will be information that you'll need to know if you're going to properly understand how to use some of the advanced recording techniques that I'm going to be teaching in future videos in this series.

Unfortunately, as of early 2014, YouTube annotations are not visible to mobile viewers, only to users watching on desktop browsers. I use annotations quite frequently to post clarifications and additional information during the video.
