Ep. 261: Lassen | Volcanic National Park California RV travel camping

We've now worked our way from the northern Sierra Nevada to the volcanic tablelands surrounding the southern Cascades of northern California. Lassen County is logging country and home to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Our first objective is to find an appropriate boondocking site, which is easier said than done. Once we settle down to camp in the Pine Creek Valley, northwest of Susanville, we'll ascend the extinct volcanoes of both Cave Mountain to let Zoe swim in Cave Lake, and Antelope Mountain to see the fire lookout, and also marvel at the extremely low water level in Eagle Lake before exploring Lassen Volcanic National Park.
