Starting from the Impossibility | Andika Pratama | TEDxUniversitasIndonesia

Andika Pratama, a 22-year-old graduate of Universitas Indonesia, shares his journey from being a bullied child in a small village in West Sumatra to overcoming adversity and achieving his dreams. Despite the challenges, including being rejected by several universities and facing societal judgment due to his physical appearance and background, Andika persevered through the support of his parents and his determination. He founded “Sejuta Tangan untuk Negeri” to provide equal educational opportunities to children in underserved communities. His story emphasizes resilience, the power of dreams, and the belief that with persistence, even the seemingly impossible can be achieved. Today, Andika’s achievements include becoming Abang Jakarta, meeting global leaders, and inspiring others to turn their “impossibilities” into realities.
