Today I tell you about the stock I almost did not buy...Nvidia. I was writing a book, "Stock Market Intelligence," and I suggested readers "take a chance" and make intelligent speculations on stocks they want to own.

I argued that even if they didn't understand the company 100%, even if they only knew 70% of what they wish they knew --- sometimes it's okay to dive in.

My editor asked if I had done this myself. I told him "no." He yelled at me (in the red ink he used for editing) and said I should not suggest anyone do something I had not done myself.

So, I bought stock in Nvidia (NVDA) at $13 in 2020 along with 9 other stocks. I own all 10 of these stocks to this day, I never sold a single share.

In this video I describe when I think it makes sense (if at all) to sell a stock. I quote Peter Lynch, who said: "Selling your winners and holding your losers is like cutting the flowers and watering the weeds."
