Join us as we explore the old site of the abandoned WONDERLAND SYDNEY amusement park to see what has been left behind 20 years after its closure…

Officially opened in December 1985, Wonderland Sydney was once the largest theme park in the Southern Hemisphere, reigning supreme for 18 years as the premier theme park in New South Wales.

The park boasted three distinct areas: Goldrush, Medieval Faire (Later renamed Old Botany Bay), Hanna-Barbera Land, the park was heavily modelled around Canada's Wonderland.

On April 26th, 2004, the day after ANZAC Day the gates closed for the last time. Most rides found new homes and were sold off to other amusement parks. While the The Bush Beast, The Beastie, and The Snowy River Rampage were demolished leaving only memories of the the parks former glory.
