22 years old girl Ms. Hadgara Idrissa from Niger, was suffering from sickle cell disease causing avascular necrosis of her hip joint. She could not walk due to acetabular fracture and this was corrected and right total hip replacement was performed by Dr. Mudit Khanna (Orthopedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon at Wokchardt Hospitals, South Mumbai, India).

A special Implant was used during her hip replacement surgery and now she can walk independently.
