Upgrading the mighty Borsig 53 Steamer

The mighty prototype steamer BR 53 from German manufacturer Borsig was planned, but never reached production. Märklin has produced a number of H0- and Z-scale models based on the sketches found of this mallet type steamer. In this video we´re bringing one of those models back to life by motor replacement, digital conversion, adding an authentic sound map, artificial shadowing effects and assembling driver and dual smoke generators.
