Great news! I-944 Declaration of Self Sufficiency NOT required

On July 29th, 2020, the US District Court of New York enjoined USCIS from implementing the public charge changes announced on February 24, 2020. The ruling means that USCIS cannot currently require applicants to file form I-944 with their adjustment application. The decision is only temporary while COVID is considered a national health crisis in the US.
