Gateway Classic Cars was a REAL DISAPPOINTMENT. This car was placed on consignment at Gateway Classic Cars, St. Louis and their presentation was terrible. Their customer service was terrible. This is a show winning car and their photos were grainy and discolored. This video sold the car. Not them. I was contacted by the buyer through youtube and he told me he was having difficulty with Gateway so I decided to call them myself. They would not return my calls. After weeks of not being able to talk with anyone I called and asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor was hostile and accused me of talking with a stranger instead of the person handling my account. I asked him how did he mean stranger? I said, I called Gateway and asked to speak with a supervisor, you are a supervisor with Gateway aren't you. He said, yes. Gateway was highly unpleasant for me and my buyer. I'll never buy or sell with them again. They have brought the SLEAZY USED CAR DEALER style of business to the vintage car market.
