It's well established that Rise of the Robots is one of the worst games of all time. The level of marketing overhype focused on the pre-rendered CGI, backed up by a bunch of baloney about advanced AI and combat design supposedly better than Street Fighter II, painted a picture of a game far more revolutionary than it actually was. In short, it sucked on every single platform it was released for, and should have been buried without trace.

I've covered multiple versions of the game on my channel, but I wanted to check out the version which I personally owned back in the day, the PC CD-ROM edition. It includes additional cutscenes not present in the disk-based PC or console cartridge releases, and I don't think they were part of the Amiga CD32 release either. These clips don't make up for the fact ROTR is a complete dogs breakfast of a game, but I thought it would be cool to longplay it anyway.
