Yogscast Games Unveils "Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers": A Unique Deckbuilding Adventure

Yogscast Games is thrilled to reveal its latest ace, Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers, joining its expanding roster of strategic, yet quirky, indie titles. This game puts a unique spin on classic card games by combining elements from both real-life and other card games, making it a must-play for fans of deckbuilders.

The adventure kicks off in a tavern filled with rough-and-ready characters, where everyone plays a unique version of traditional Blackjack. Players must master this newfangled card game to overthrow the greedy capitalists exploiting the Blackjack-addicted townsfolk.

Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers features over 250 unique cards, each with special effects. Every run promises a fresh experience as players build different decks and experiment with strategies. Completing a run unlocks new starter decks that require different playstyles, allowing for varied and interesting deck-building directions. Whether unleashing corporate chaos with Business Cards or wreaking mystical havoc with Tarot Cards, the choice is theirs and will determine their success.

For those eager to try their luck, a playable demo is now available on Steam. Additionally, Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers will be part of the Steam Next Fest lineup in June, providing ample opportunity to see what’s on the cards.

In development since September 2021, Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers has evolved through various prototypes and demos. The game now features a revamped visual style thanks to celebrated Yogscast artists Harry, Nina-Serena, and Jack. Players diving into the demo will be immersed in the dingy tavern setting, practically smelling the stale ale, body odor, and damp stench.
