So few days ago, i went to kongthong and got my name after spending a day with a local village family.yes i got my own whistling name…
The village is in Meghalaya, india . 1-2 hours from Shillong.

First they hissitated because this name is unique to the people of the village and only the child borh in this village gets this name by his or her mother. Its a name that a mother keeps for his child , with love...
But the next morning, they said "ok" and after 2 months they sent my name through a whatsapo voice note. It made me feel happy and special..

But that thing doesnt shadows the time i spent there and the connection i built with the family. i will embrace this experience throughout my life until i die. Thank you my new family in kongthong, if you are reading this.
