Wild Seas, St. Ives, October 29,'19

A very wild high tide, big waves ,strong winds and I guess very exciting for many people who don't seem to mind getting wet, including myself. It does make one feel a sense of adventure.I still get some crooked horizon lines but with the wind it is hard to keep that in mind. Many rainy, cloudy days of these kind of winds makes one think of climate change now that it is a very common topic. Yet there are often wild seas but maybe now it is more frequent as winter arrives? There is a tendency to go searching for the biggest waves although those occur in some other places like Sennen Cove and Porthleven. They call it storm chasing. One does have to be careful in some places and try not to get water on the lens which is much more possible if one is using a phone with a very small lens. What the seagulls do in this weather is fly less and if they do fly try to avoid crashing!! I'd sit it out!
