The East Lancs Railway was the scene for some superb loco performances this weekend, as their annual winter steam gala took place on the 18th & 19th of January.
The gala would see two visiting engines, which were Thompson B1 61624 & B.R Standard 4 76084, they were also backed up by the home fleet, which were Black Five 45407 & the super sounding Standard 4 80800. Unfortunately the Super D failed again and was unavailable. A massive thanks go to the ELR for running a excellently run gala with trains running to time on the final day of the gala.
