Here is the full step by step method to get the Boolean Gemini (to obtain the gun you will need to be rank 3 'Queens Wrath' but you can complete the quests before hand.)

1.Complete the quest . "the taken war: Petra"

In this quest you have to speak with Variks and then go to Earth and defeat 2 taken champions and gather some resources which are dropped randomly from taken and fallen enemies.
Once you have done this go back and speak with Variks.

He will tell you to go talk to Petra, she will give you the same quest but you have to repeat the steps on Venus.

The next step is to go back and talk to Petra and repeat the previous steps but on Mars,
Finally go back and talk to Petra

2.The next step is to complete the quest "Lost and Found" ( to do this quest you must have access to the patrol on the dreadnaught)

Next you will have to defeat 50 enemies in these locations : The hull breach , The mausoleum and the hall of souls.

After you have defeated 50 enemies in all 3 locations you will have to go to the court of Oryx and complete events that are activated by the Rune's.

Keep doing these events until you get the 'Tech Witch's brooch'.
When you get the brooch return to Petra.

3.The next step is to complete the quest 'The wolves on Mars'

You will have to defeat 300 fallen enemies at each location : Earth, Venus and the Moon. defeating tier 2 fallen enemies will give you more completion than defeating a normal fallen enemy.

Next you will have to go to Mars and go to Firebase Rubicon and defeat an Archon Priest. When you have defeated the Archon priest go back and talk to Variks.

For the next step you will be given a new story mission on Mars , you will need to complete it to proceed with the quest line.

Once the mission is completed go back to Variks and he will give you another mission on Mars and all you have to do is defeat a spider tank.

After you defeat the spider tank , go back and speak with Variks and he will give you another mission on Mars where you have to defeat a powerful servitor.

When the servitor is defeated return to Variks to complete the quest, after you have talked to Variks you will have to go and speak with Petra and she will give you the 'Boolean Gemini' however she
will only give you the gun if you are rank 3 with the 'Queens Wrath'
