Šarlo Akrobata was formed in winter 1979 in Belgrade. Members were Milan Mladenović (guitar, vocals), Ivica Vdović - Vd (drums) and Dušan Kojić - Koja (bass, vocals). Short-lived, but radical, Šarlo was one of the most innovative and powerful bands ever to come out of former Yugoslavia. They've participated on 1981 compilation 'Paket-Aranžman' together with other two Belgrade new wave bands Idoli and Električni Orgazam. Later in the same year they released critically acclaimed LP 'Bistriji Ili Tuplji Čovek Biva Kad...' [A human becomes cleverer or dumber when...], one of the milestones of Yugoslavian r'n'r. After the autumn tour in Poland, the band split in two fractions: Milan's Katarina II (later EKV) and Koja's Disciplina Kičme. (...)
