Microrings or as they are sometimes referred to as "cold fusion" (because no heat is used) (also known as Micro Link or Micro Loop) are applied using tiny rings (2.6-3.0mm in diameter) to attach the extensions without using heat, glues, or sewing. The rings are pinched very flat and are nearly undetectable. Works great on most hair types and is quickly becoming one of the more popular hair extension attachment methods because they cause no damage to your own hair. Chemical-free removal.

The rings themselves lie flat against the head once attached and come in a variety of colors to match. This method requires no adhesives to be used on your hair, and is the easiest installation to remove.

Micro Ring Hair Extensions last between 3-4 months and take about 2-4 hours to apply.

Washing
-Use good quality shampoo
-Avoid shampoo with sulfate to avoid damage to the extensions and to your own hair
-Do not scrub aggressively
-You can use conditioner on your hair extensions but avoid the rings themselves as it could cause slipping
-Dry your hair immediately (at least the roots) to avoid tangling and slipping
-Never go to bed with wet hair
-When brushing, be gentle!

Sleeping
-Braid your hair or put it in a ponytail to avoid tangling

Styling
-You can style your hair any way you'd like - just like your own hair
-Always use a heat protectant and your hot tools on low heat

Maintenance
-You will need to come in every 6-8 weeks for maintenance depending on your hair growth. At these appointments, you will have the rings moved up.
-The hair can be reused
