Upload #28

OrangeCoffee's one of those circles that I thought was low-key really popular back in the day. From what I could remember, they were one of the first few circles that specialized in lounge/easy-listening jazz-derivative/syncopated music - there were other jazz arranger circles, sure, but most of them would sound very out-of-place in a cafe.

In any case, from the very little I interact with other TH music listeners, I rarely hear people talking about OrangeCoffee at all, which is a bit of a shame. Their music has probably "aged" a bit in terms of novelty, since they're not the only cafe music arrangers around nowadays (correction - they're not even around anymore from what I can tell, sadly), but they've been a very consistent circle in terms of quality. On slower workdays, I wouldn't really mind having their entire discography play in the background.

That being said, out of OrangeCoffee's works, this one's probably my favorite, and it's the first track I think of when I think of them. It's not very common to hear a SFF arranged in a major key.

(A few seconds of silence were cut out at the end, as usual)

Still away from my machine for another month, so no promises on #029 being on time, but figured I'd upload this one from my backlog a bit early. The image choice on this video's unfortunately a bit off (given that the title's "coffee break", not "onsen break"; even the store banner in the background says "tea"), but my multiple hours of mucking around with AI gens before I left wasn't able to produce anything satisfactory. Half of the images that I ended up with looked like it was winter, since the steam from the coffee would come out of the subject's mouth instead, and the other half would involve chewing on a bent cup of coffee.
Guess this image'll have to do for now.

That aside, I neglected to do this when I first started uploading since I didn't think it was relevant back then, but I think I'll be editing in the year of arrangement for each upload when I get the chance. Dunno if any of the young'uns visit this channel, but I do distinctly remember thinking that music made more than 5 years ago was considered old back when I was a kid, so documenting age might be helpful.
