I just spent a week testing out this $20 fitness tracking ring from AliExpress. I wanted to share my experience with you all. Right off the bat, the battery life really impressed me. It lasted nearly six days on a single charge, which is fantastic for such an affordable device.
This ring tracks sleep, heart rate, and blood oxygen levels. The sleep tracking was spot on, which honestly surprised me. The app that comes with it works without requiring an account, which is refreshing, especially from a Chinese product. It only asked for location and Bluetooth permissions, and that’s about it.
Durability-wise, I put this thing through a lot. I wore it during construction work, and despite getting scuffed, it held up really well. It even survived my daily gym sessions, though it didn’t fare great with lifting – the dumbbells kept catching on it. That’s more an issue with rings in general, though.
There are some downsides, like the step tracking being pretty inaccurate and the lack of integration with Google Fit or Apple Health. Plus, the app doesn’t have dark mode (seriously, what’s up with that?). But overall, for $20, this ring is a solid option if you're looking for a cheap, entry-level fitness tracker. It’s no Whoop or Aura ring, but for the price, it's definitely worth a shot.
