St John’s Centre is an unassuming off-street shopping centre in the middle of Leeds.

There are tons of dead malls like this one all over the UK, but this one holds a certain place in my heart. It’s the first one I ever visited, maybe 15 years ago, before I even knew that they had a name.

In the video, we get into how memory can betray you; this place can’t have been dead when I first visited, as it really only started struggling after Trinity Leeds opened in 2013. We also check out what might be my favourite liminal space of all those I’ve encountered.
