"Mir Amin" performed live with Octatrack mk2, Synthstrom Deluge, Analog Heat, Digitakt 2020

In a time where social distancing was a thing (remember that?) I got to play live in Mir Amin a 19th century Ottoman-era palace located in the Chouf Mountains of Lebanon. It was once the residence of the last Emirs of Lebanon.

So what do I do? I gather my favourite music tech such as the Octatrack mk2, Digitakt, analog heat by ‪@WeAreElektron‬ and the beautiful Deluge ‪@SynthstromAudible‬ to perform a unique set.

In case you don't know what I do, I compose original music and perform it live with a variation of machines. This is my happy moment where I get to surf the wave of music improv, feel the excitement of live performance and see humans dance and react to my compositions.

I got to release this song, aptly named "Mir Amin", last year along with the rest of the tracks performed on this live set.
