HIKING SOLO AROUND LAKE BOSOMTWE (GHANA)

I hiked 36 km all around Lake Bosomtwe, GHANA (Ashanti/Kumasi region)

On a very sunny, hot, humid day I decided to hike solo all around Lake Bosomtwe, a hike of 36 km!
With its 10,5 km diameter Lake Bosomtwe is the only natural lake in Ghana, a crater created by a meteorite impact millions of years ago.
The site is a UNESCO biosphere reserve and it's home to a great variety of flora and fauna, as well as 50,000 inhabitants.
Follow me during this 36 km hike, wandering under banana, papaya, cocoa and palm trees forests, walking through the several villages built around the lake and discovering some fishing habits of the locals.
