GAME 3 Preview:

It was another incredibly close match between the Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers in Game 2, but the 76ers held on for another narrow victory with a score of 108 - 106.

Despite his greatest efforts, Connor Cannady couldn't slow down Edwin Kuminga, who finished with a monster 35 points and 25 rebounds. Kuminga thus far in these playoffs is feasting inside and he's yet to find an opposing center who can handle him underneath the basket. Pilsner Pete put in a strong showing as well, finishing with 26 points and Sir Shved put in 14 assists to go with his 10 points. Though they performed well offensively, much of the credit for Philadelphia's win goes to their defense.

The defensive strategy of hounding Ronald McDonald proved to be effective for most of the game. The 76ers held him to a rough shooting night, forcing him into tough shots throughout the contest, helping him along the way to a 6 / 21 outing. They also did a stellar job defending Pace Mannion, Chicago's typical third leading scorer, limiting him to 13 points on 5 / 17 shooting.

It's got to be devastating for these Bulls to be going back to Chicago in a 0 - 2 hole, when they had legitimate chances in both games to take the win. For a young team, this is an invaluable experience, but you've got to think they're fuming, knowing that they could very well have been heading back home up 2 - 0 instead.
