But in today’s dramatically reconfigured world, success is increasingly dependent on how we interact with others. With help from Adam Grant’s bestselling book “Give and Take”, we will consider whether giving is the secret to getting ahead. We’ll also hear an inspiring update on the Generosity Movement globally and stories of marketplace leaders who are experiencing new freedom in being generous with their Labor, Influence, Finances, and Expertise.

J.Paul has spent the majority of his career (since 1995) helping people to discover and give to causes all over the world. He brings a passion for generosity and has been working with Generosity Path in an official capacity since 2013 to help spread a message of transformational generosity among those who have been entrusted with much in Asia, Latin America, Africa, the UK, Europe and the Middle East. His past work has included extensive travel throughout the US and the globe while working with higher education initiatives, humanitarian aid projects, and business development ventures. J.Paul counts it an amazing privilege to learn from and work with many amazing people. He is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University with a degree in communications. He and his wife Julie live in Lynnwood, Washington, USA and have four children (TJ, Josh, Maria and Jacob).

About Generosity Path

The mission of Generosity Path is simple. We want to move people who have been entrusted with much onto the path of generosity. Over and over we have seen lives transformed – lives filled with joy – by following this path. This happens primarily through small group retreats (called a Journey of Generosity, 10-20 people over a 24 hour period) and larger inspirational events (called a Celebration of Generosity, 100-300 people over a 2 day period).

Convened and let by Christian philanthropists, Generosity Path is privately funded and thus can create safe and inspiring environments for people to talk about money and possessions without any concern that there will be an appeal for funds. Discussions are centered directly at the hearts of the participants, encouraging and motivating them to increase their generosity to the causes that are near to their hearts.
