Betty's Sparkling Iced Tea

Betty demonstrates how to make Sparkling Iced Tea. This is an easy way to turn regular iced tea into a refreshing, carbonated, flavored iced tea!

Sparkling Iced Tea

3 cups water
6 regular-size tea bags
28 ounces (3 ½ cups) lemon-lime carbonated beverage (Mountain Dew, Sprite, 7-Up, etc.)
sugar or artificial sweetener, if desired (I use Stevia.)

In a medium-sized pot, boil water. Immediately add tea bags and boil gently for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. Let tea stand at room temperature to cool. Stir in lemon-lime carbonated beverage. Pour over ice cubes in a tall glass and serve immediately. Individually sweeten tea to taste, using sugar or artificial sweetener. Enjoy! Love, Betty ♥♥♥
