Setting Up Your Worm Farm

Add grit: Incorporate a small amount of organic soil or crushed eggshells to aid in the digestion process.
Introduce worms: Place the worms on top of the bedding and allow them a few days to adjust before adding food.

Avoid harmful foods: Do not add meat, dairy products, greasy foods, or too many citrus fruits, as they can attract pests or make the farm too acidic.
Harvesting and Using Castings
Check tray fullness: When the top tray is full, add another tray on top of it.
Harvest castings: After a few months, the bottom layer will contain the worm castings, which are ready to be harvested.
Use as plant food: Harvest the "worm tea" liquid collected from the tap, dilute it to the color of weak tea, and use it as a liquid fertilizer for your garden.
