MINISTRY OF TEXTILES has notified a Quality Control Order for Ropes and Cordages after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards (Govt. of India) to make BIS certification mandatory as per specified IS numbers of these products. This QCO was published on 3rd October, 2024 in the official gazette by BIS.
